The oldest man died

The oldest man in S. Meedhoo died. His age is said to be more than 110 years. But the islanders also didn’t know the actual age.

They say at that time they take their birth dates form some special events and special thing that happen in the island. It’s like this. If today some is starting to build a boat and I get a child I will say that my child was born on this day. But funny thing is he/ she won’t know that date. Still they practice doing this for long time. Some educated people wrote their age on the walls and some place where others can see later.
