Fishermen no value.

Early morning fishermen's starts their journey to the sea. First they collect live bites from the reef sides. Then they come to the sea and find the shoal. (Now they use modern equipments). Even if it raining or sunny, they will catch the fish. (Major fishing practice in Maldives is pole-n-line fishing) After 7 or 8 hours spending on the sea they come to back island. Start to sell their fishes.
One day of a fishermen’s life.

These fishermen’s brings lot of money to the country as well as to their islands. They are the richest people in this country. During their peak months they will get MRF5000+ per week and low season also they will get at least MRF2000+ per week. Fishermen’s are the blood life of this country. With all these things still the society thinks they are don’t have a value. And that’s happening in the country.

Suppose if a child is not studying parents use tell them (children’s) they have to fishing. This kind of things shows that fishermen are not valuable. But like other sector fishing industry is also getting developing. And it’s time to go for fishing with good education.

So why don’t we respect them and except they as one every important citizen of this country. We have to wipe out all the myth about fishermen.
